Wallace Gerald Scott, 54, of Eden passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 until 8 pm Monday, May 13, 2024, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.

Wallace was born in Eden on February 19, 1970, a son of Ruby Mabe Scott and the late Wallace Junior Scott.  He formerly worked for Southern Finishing.  He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play football and Carolina play basketball.  He also enjoyed playing golf.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Angie Scott.

Wallace is survived by his mother, Ruby Scott of Eden; his sister, Patricia Gann and husband Ronnie of Mayodan; his niece, Fallon Gann and his nephews, Keenan Simpson and Erric Johnson.
