Mrs. Wanda Tanner Stutz, 76, of Pelham, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home.

Wanda was born in Chattanooga, TN to James Brice Tanner and Ethel Sergeant Tanner, both deceased.  Wanda spent her early years raising her family and later as a custodian at Leaksville Elementary School.  She and her husband Earl "Toby" Stutz spent much of their time and spirit fulfilling God's mission for them working with Good News Clubs, Vacation Bible School and teaching Sunday School to children of all ages at their local church, Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves behind her two children, Tracey Torain and husband Roosevelt of Yanceyville, NC and David Stutz and wife Melissa of Elgin, SC; her brother, Wayne Pelham of Whitwell, TN; her grandchildren, Katelynn Martin Jefferson and husband Richard, RJ Martin, Xavier Merchant and Jennifer Stutz Sanders and husband Grayson; her great grandchildren, Brett and Emily Jefferson and Riley Sanders.

Wanda's memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM before the service at the church.
