Wanda "Yvonne" Watkins McCann, 79, of Reidsville passed away on Monday, April 29,2024 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11am at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Yvonne was born on July 4,1944 a daughter of James Monroe Watkins and Minnie Greene Watkins, both deceased. She worked as an machine operator at Burlington Industries until her retirement. Yvonne also worked at Walmart and was a member at Osborne Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Thomas Wayne McCann of the home; her children, Andrea Murray of Reidsville and Greg McCann and wife, Ruth of Reidsville; her sister, Hilda Lamana of Greensboro, NC and her grandchildren, Ashley Reis and Chloe McCann.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her son in law, Jim Murray.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Thursday evening May 2, 2024.
