Wilbur Wallace Anderson, 66, of Eden passed away on Monday morning, April 19, 2021 at his residence.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home.

Wilbur was born in Rockingham County on November 3, 1954, a son of John Henry Anderson and Carlene Mitchell Anderson, both deceased.  He was an auto mechanic and also a painter.  He was a funny man who kept his family laughing up to the end.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Anderson; his brother, Houston "Peanut" Anderson; and his sister, Judy Cayton.

Wilbur is survived by his sons, Jesse Anderson and Wallace Anderson Jr., both of Collinsville; his siblings, Brenda Richardson of Eden, Shelby Hogan of Reidsville, Sheila Anderson of Ridgeway, Phillip Anderson of Eden, Gordon Anderson of Eden; his grandchildren, Alexis, Zoey and Kevin Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his caregivers, Patsy Woods and June Agee for their compassionate care during his illness.
