William "Bill" Joseph Sullivan, 77, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no services.

Bill was born in Chevy Chase, Maryland on April 9, 1947, a son of Joseph Toy Sullivan and Phyllis Ann Ebert Sullivan, both deceased.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He served in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart.  He retired as the Postmaster for the US Postal Service, serving many years in the Madison Post Office.

He is survived by his son, Preston Sullivan (Angie) of Eden; his brother, Leland Sullivan (Laura) of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Caden Sullivan and Chloe Sullivan.
