Yvonne Stone Smith, 75, of Reidsville passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the funeral home and other times at 700 Berrymore Road in Reidsville.

Yvonne was born in Eden on June 2, 1951, a daughter of Odell Stone and Hilda Moore Stone, both deceased. She was a wonderful wife and mother who would do anything for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James Gordon Smith, Sr. and her brothers, Harold Stone, Clayton Stone and James Stone.

Yvonne is survived by her children, James Gordon Smith, Jr. (Amanda), Teresa King (Richard), Tammy Joyce (Jimmy), all of Reidsville; her sisters, Wendy Jeffries and Diane Terry (Steve), all of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Hunter Joyce, Holden Joyce, Lily Joyce, Tessa Kennon, Tabitha Smith, Angel King, Bentley King, Isabella King, James Smith III, Courtney Smith, Raylan Smith, Edward Smith, Jacob Smith; and her great grandchildren, Walker, Jason, Lanie, Harley, Alanik, Novalie, James Smith IV, Lucas, Gracelyn, and Danilynn.
