Patsy Lee Johnson Daniels, 80, of Eden passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Thursday before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Daniels was born in Love Valley, Tennessee on January 9, 1938, a daughter of Walter Eugene Johnson and Maude Edgars Johnson, both deceased.  She was retired from Morehead Memorial Hospital.  She was loving and very thoughtful and very witty and sharp.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Billings; and her siblings, Arville Johnson, Lowell Johnson, Omar Johnson, Bill Johnson, Loyd Johnson, Walter Johnson, Bette Billings and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Arthur Eugene Daniels, Jr. of the home; her children, Deborah Montgomery and husband Johnny of Ennice, NC, Raymond Billings and wife Crystal of Eden, Terry Billings and wife Michele of Morganton, NC, Teresa Scott and husband Berry of Eden, Melissa Kaneko and husband Nori of Stoneville, Lisa Bullins and husband Randy of Eden; her siblings, Juanita Combs, Brenda Cochran, Ella Billings and husband Bill, all of Sparta, Mike Johnson of Yadkinville; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the UNC Rockingham Cancer Center or the Salvation Army of Rockingham County.
